Celtic in talks to sign Joe Hart

Celtic have started talks with Joe Hart after 37-year-old Craig Gordon confirmed he would be leaving the club with his contract now expired, according to .

Hart has been trying to find his feet ever since Pep Guardiola took over at Manchester City in 2016. The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss replaced him immediately with Claudio Bravo, and later added Ederson Moraes to his ranks and made the Brazilian his undisputed number one choice between the posts.

Since then, Hart had loan spells with Torino and West Ham, and moved to Burnley on a permanent basis two years ago. His contract with the Clarets expires at the end of the month, and they ve decided not to offer him a new one with Nick Pope back on duty after a lengthy injury lay-off.

Milan 1-0 Sampdoria: Leao sends Rossoneri top of Serie A

Rafael Leao s early goal proved the difference as Milan beat Sampdoria 1-0 at San Siro on Sunday to climb to the top of Serie A.

Saturday s 1-1 draw between Inter and Napoli provided Milan with the opportunity to leapfrog both sides and they did exactly that without ever being at their best against Samp.

Leao calmly converted inside eight minutes after being assisted by keeper Mike Maignan and that was enough for the hosts, who have now won three in a row in all competitions.

Milan are two points clear of third-place Napoli and one point better off than reigning champions Inter, who still have a game in hand to play.

Milan had collected just one point from their past two home matches but started brightly and took the lead early on through Leao s 10th goal…

Sevilla 7/10 to beat Levante in Wednesday’s La Liga matchup

Market: Sevilla win

Odds: 7/10 @

Smelling a golden chance to extend on their recent purple patch, a high-flying Sevilla will make the trip to an empty Ciutat de València on Wednesday evening.

Starting with the hosts, while Levante might have managed to land that much-needed 1-0 win away at Eibar earlier in the month, it appears that might have just been a minor boost for The Frogs. Despite opening the 2020/21 campaign enjoying a real flurry and some in their camp even dreaming of a shock charge for the European spots, Paco López s side put in what was a hugely worrying display last weekend. In a performance that was billed as their worst of the season so far, Granotes were hit with a woeful 5-1 drumming at the hands of Villarreal on home soil. Losing three of …

Having put pen to paper on her new deal – the length of which was not disclosed, Mead targeted a successful return in the coming months.

I m so happy to have signed a new deal with Arsenal, she told the club s website. This club is home for me.

I ve grown so much here as a player and a person…

Eriksen in ´perfect´ condition but Brentford debut could be weeks away

Christian Eriksen is in perfect condition but Thomas Frank thinks he will only be ready to make his Brentford debut in a few weeks .

Brentford signed Eriksen on a deal until the end of the season following his release from Inter in December, which came after he suffered a cardiac arrest while representing Denmark at Euro 2020 last year.

The 29-year-old was fitted with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) device, which made him ineligible for professional football in Italy.

Eriksen has been training with his former club Ajax and Frank has no concerns about his fitness, though he will not join up with his team-mates until after Saturday s FA Cup trip to Everton.

It is a little bit of a miracle of course that first and foremost he is healthy but …

Koeman confirms Wijnaldum interest

Liverpool s Georginio Wijnaldum was linked with Barcelona throughout the summer transfer window, but he ended up staying put. Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman has reportedly confirmed that his compatriot had indeed been on his list.

The versatile midfielder joined the Reds from Newcastle United in 2016, and has been a vital ingredient in the formula designed by Jurgen Klopp which brought Liverpool the 2019 Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup, as well as the long-awaited Premier League title last season. With 35 league starts (37 appearances) in 2019/20, he was the most consistently available player in Klopp s team.

At the age of 29, Wijnaldum has entered the final year of his contract and despite several reports suggesting a new one was cl…

Hertha Berlin striker Adrian Ramos would welcome a move to Borussia Dortmund, describing such a switch as very good for him.

The Colombian striker, who has 12 league goals to his name this season to top the scoring charts, has been linked with a move to Signal Iduna Park as Dortmund look to replace Robert Lewandowski.

With the Poland international set to join Bayern Munich at the end of the season, Ramos has been one reported target for Jurgen Klopp, whose side sit third despite a poor run of form.

Ramos has been a major factor in Hertha s relatively successful return to the German top flight and said he would welcome a move if it came to pass.

The transfer to Borussia is still in the rumour phase, he told Colombian radio station Antena 2.

But if the chan…

Vassilis Torosidis has set his sights on winning silverware with Roma after signing a new three-year contract with the Serie A side.

The Greece international is now tied to the capital club until May 2017 and believes Rudi Garcia can push the side onto the next level after challenging for the Scudetto last season.

Roma started the campaign with 10 consecutive wins but were unable to stop the Juventus juggernaut collecting a third-successive title under Antonio Conte.

Ashley Cole, Antonio Sanabria, Salih Ucan, Leandro Paredes, Juan Iturbe and Urby Emanuelson have all moved to Stadio Olimpico during the close-season while star midfielder Miralem Pjanic also committed his future to the club.

Since moving to Italy from Olympiacos in January 2013, the defender…

The Man Utd youngsters eager to shine when Red Devils host Chelsea

For a number of years, a clash between Manchester United and Chelsea with less than a month of the Premier League campaign remaining would often be a defining one.

United s days of competing for – and regularly winning – the title are over for now, though, with the Red Devils languishing down in sixth place.

Indeed, following Saturday s 3-1 loss to Arsenal – their third defeat in four games – the Red Devils are also now effectively out of the race for a top-four finish.

While there is little to play for on the face of it, the remaining four matches at least provides Ralf Rangnick a chance to experiment before being replaced by Erik ten Hag.

Rangnick has admitted United need a huge squad overhaul if they are to compete for major honours again, but…
